Thanks to that the numbers of people noise induced hearing loss will more than double means 1 in 10 in the world and in Singapore 1 in 8 by 2050 will have some sort of hearing impairment.

When these options aren’t possible, hearing protectors - earplugs or protective earmuffs - can help. Hearing protectors are wearable devices that can lower the intensity of sound that enters your ears.​​​
Standard Ear Protection
Earplugs and Earmuffs are inexpensive devices placed directly into your ear canal or covering your ears. Earplugs come in various sizes but can be hard to find in sizes that fit especially children. Earplugs may have cords attached to help you keep track of them. For children aged below 5y Earmuffs are more recommendable especially since the shape of ears changes and the muffs are easier to use.
Personalized Ear Protection
Personalized or Custom earplugs are made from rubber or silicone. They have a lifetime of up to 5 years*.
As the name suggests they are according to the individuals ear cause the ear is like a finger print
- not even the right and left ear are identical.
To secure the most accurate, comfortable and protecting fit custom ear plugs are the best solution and they can be used over a few years if taken care of. Some of them are available with filters.
